AKC, believes in honoring responsible breeders who have gone above and beyond on health issues, temperament, and genetic screening, as well as to the individual care and placement of puppies in responsible homes. That’s why they started the AKC Breeder of Merit Program: To give breeders a way to prove their dedication to preserving breed characteristics and producing healthy, well-socialized puppies. They consider us the most conscientious and most committed breeders.
-----------------Thank You For Visiting-----------------
Thank you for visiting our website. We have five grown children and eight grandchildren. When our nest became empty, it was time to fill our home with our fur kids.
I am dedicated to both showing and breeding Havanese of the highest quality. Our puppies are raised in our home. We raise a couple of litters a year. Most puppies go to pet homes, with a select few going to show homes. ...
...Dennis and I have always thought that a pet should be a joyful addition to the family, not a problem. After years of research and going to dog shows, We decided a Havanese puppy was perfect. Not too big or too small. No shedding, very playful, not a big barker, sturdy, plays well with others, (human and dog a like). After much thought, I decided to venture into the world of showing Havanese. And to pursue becoming a Breeder of Merit. Dennis has been very supportive in my venture.
Many years ago, as a teen, I (Marie) participated in the horse show world. Later the children were involved in showing the horses in 4H events. But, I have always dreamed of learning about, and showing dogs. In 2007, it became the perfect time for me to fulfill that dream.
